Since Being Here, I Really Have Nothing To Say

Since Louisiana is such a boring place, I have not posted anything on my blog, Myspace or even MyFamily.com. Though there is nothing really of worth to report, I feel kind of bad that I haven't posted anything and yet I expect everyone else to. So, though it is not exciting, here is what has been going on since we moved to "The Pit of Hell."

  • On our way to Louisiana we bought me a new car. A gorgeous sparkling blue '08 Honda Civic. It gets GREAT gas mileage! I am very happy to have it :D. (Pardon the love bug splatter...they are REALLY bad down here).
  • We adopted our second puppy, Jack. He is a beautiful blood hound mix. He is very affectionate and actually more obedient than Siera at the moment. We named him Jack after Jack O'Neil from Stargate-SG1. I just had to have another puppy after seeing how much Siera loved playing with other dogs. We are very happy with our decision and our luck of getting such a wonderful addition.

  • We moved on post. We were lucky to get a first floor, which we asked for so that the dogs can have a yard to play in. It isn't much, especially when we are going from having a great 3 bedroom house with a jacuzzi. Now we are stuck in a 2 bedroom house with 1 small bathroom and a yard with no grass. It is not what we would like to have, but it is "free" and we are making the most of it.

  • Aaron works almost everyday, including the weekends. He isn't able to make it to church so much that the ward thinks he is inactive. He loves what he does, which is train other soldiers that are about to be deployed. He just hates the hours he has to put it and how much it takes him away from me. It just makes the time that we are able to spend together that more special.

  • I am spending allot of my time in doctors offices. I have an allergenist (I have not been able to stop itching since I got here), an infertility specialist, and a few more that I don't feel comfortable talking about. I go in for shots every week for my allergies for now, in a few more weeks I will be giving me my own shots at home. I see an infertility doctor about once a month. As some of you know I have had 2 miscarriages and now Aaron and I are having trouble getting pregnant at all. Aaron has been ruled out for being the problem (lucky bastard), so now it is all on me. I just had to go to the largest town which is about an hour away to have an HSG (Hysterosalpingogram) done. That was fun, NOT! Now I have another appointment with my regular specialty doctor to go over the results and see what is next.

  • Aaron and I get together with another couple from church regularly. We get together to play games at each others houses and we go bowling on Friday nights from 9 to midnight.

That is pretty much it. We stay at home most of the times just watching TV, movies or playing video games. There is nothing here except for Wal-Mart so it really limits any activities. Though we are making the best of what we have. We have each other and that is enough, but the dogs do help :D.

I guess that is about it. Told you it is boring down here.
